Madness have performed "London Calling" by the Clash live at a gig. The charity side of the gig in Bridgewater on January the 8th was linked to Joe Strummer you see thats why the song "London Calling" was played in the encore. With Suggs reading the lyrics to the classic clash song. Read on for a full review from the Bridgewater Mercury newspaper. It has also come to light since this review that Anday MacKay Roxy Music Saxophonist and legend, played sax with the band on One Step Beyond at this show. The O2 Arena. Awesome venue. Purpose built arena with an entertainment avenue of restaurants, bars and clubs, oh and an ice rink and chill out bubble, and a cinema, and a museum to ancient Egypt's Tutankhamun, all with it's own tube station for easy access. The 02 staff told us that, Tutankhamun woke up during Night Boat to Cairo and wandered around the main street area until the cold from the ska ice rink froze him up again, and they could put him back into the exhibit.
